Call Center Questions

Call Center Questions

By:

There are questions that are oftentimes asked by interviewers with neither right nor wrong answers, usually because they are personal or uniquely pertaining only to the individual applicant. It is actually the applicant's ability to quickly think of a plausible reply, present it in a clear and understandable manner, and transmit the idea to the interviewer in a natural conversational way, which is what is being judged.

Preparing what to say beforehand, therefore, gives the applicant a distinct advantage of giving smart answers, thoroughly thought of, which may influence the interviewer's perception in a positive direction.

Following are some of these questions, with accompanying suggested answers, which may of course, be replaced or modified according to the applicant's preference:

"It is a sin to tell a lie, my mother always told me, and so therefore, now that I am grown up, I get goose-pimples whenever I fib, although it may sometimes be necessary or vital."

When was your most embarrassing experience?
"It was actually embarrassing for me because it involved a close friend who suffered on my behalf. In a close door meeting of executives only in the company we both work for, he a rank higher than myself, he was bluntly told by the Chief Executive Officer to course through me all memorandum coming from his office, for proofreading and grammar correction, the reason being that all these documents are filed, and should be understandable even to future browsers."
"

"Everybody has a favorite teacher in school. Mine was a science teacher who allowed me to roam the science museum at will, and freely borrow any book indefinitely."

Where is your favorite place to eat?
"I have none in particular. I eat when and where it fancies me, no conditions involved."

How are you unlike the other members in your family?

What do you usually do when you are with your friends?
"Basically whatever we decide on at the moment, be it console gaming, listening to music, or simply ogling at girls."

What in your present situation are you most thankful for?
"That I am still fit and healthy, and not decrepit, unlike many others of my age."

Who in your country you would like to erect a monument to?
"At the moment, I would pick nobody in particular. I leave that to politicians."

Who do you consider the most important person in your household?
"The mother, of course, because she works as cook, cleaner, budget manager, nurse, so forth, and she do it all for free."

If you have a million dollars to spend, how and where would you do it?
"I am going to visit each one of the fifty states, and stay there for a whole month, to see all the sites there are to see."

If you have the power, what would you change in the present world, and why?
"I'll do away with terrorists, because they are hostile even to the innocents and civilians."

Granting you can return back after being allowed to go, who would you like to meet in hell, and why?
"If I have an unconditional guarantee from the Almighty that I can definitely come back, and I will be accompanied by the archangels Michael and Gabriel, I will try to speak to Carl Sagan, the famous and popular astrophysicist, and ask him if he remains an atheist."
