Raleigh's finest bakery is own by Jackie Green. Jackie learned the fine art of southern baking and cooking at a very young age growing up in South Carolina. After the death of her mother when she was seven years old, Jackie was raised by her grandmother and aunts who passed on to her the love of baking. She spent hours in the kitchen under their tutelage learning the baking techniques and specialties that are part of her cake baking secrets today.
Jackie bakes her cakes and pies only after an order is placed and delivers them within hours of baking to insure the freshest possible product for her customers. She uses the freshest quality ingredients with nothing artificial. In addition to her
butter pound cake which is her "signature" item, Jackie also
sells carrot cake, red velvet cake, German chocolate and coconut cakes, buttermilk pie, chess pie, chocolate and lemon meringue pies,brownies, tartlets and sheet cakes and the list goes on.
Cakes decorated with your favorite photo are also available. Jackie"s butter pound cake and carrot cake are sold at the Swift Creek Coffee House in Garner. Locally, her butter pound cake and other
