Cafe terrace at night also been named as The Cafe Terrace on the Place du Forum , it has been regarded as one of the most successful works by Vincent Van gogh. This painting been done in Arles france on Sep 1888.
The painting is not signed, but described and mentioned by the artist in his letters on various occasionsand, as well, there is a large pen drawing of the composition which originates from the artist's estate
Van Gogh come to the small townArles which located in South France on Feb 1888, soon after he come, he fell lover with this town and later this town become the most favorite place. The glaring sunshine and wheat field stimulated him crazing inspiration , a lot of his famous works been done during this period. Like the langlois bridge at Arles, Cafe terrace at night, yellow house at Arles. The once blooming Provence sun and bright colors all be discernable. in the works during this period
In Arles, Observing the depressing soul in the caf house become a regular work for Van Gogh , In the " caf terrace at night ", the painting exudes a devil of human breath.
