Cabbage Soup Diet Reviews -- Does It Work?

It's almost quicker to start on a cabbage soup diet than it is to read cabbage soup diet reviews. The foods you need are likely already in your home. You don't need any strange foods or any special supplements. It's simple and it's cheap. No nasty things to try to swallow with this one. Is it a way to weight less fast?

Well, it depends on what you wish to accomplish. It's changed habits and lifestyle that makes for real weight loss. But then diets may work as part of a longer term plan. Let's face it, losing a pound or two a week on a long term plan is pretty discouraging and after all that's a typical sort of weight loss one can expect with a sensible eating and exercise program. The scale seems to hardly move at all. The temptation is to just give up and forget it since progress if any is so slow as to be almost invisible. Seeing some action makes it more bearable. I like to see that scale move. This plan can help with moving the scale.

The cabbage soup diet isn't just eating cabbage soup for a week. That's a plus since just eating cabbage soup all the time, if just for a week, makes for a less than fun time. Actually the cabbage soup is a filler. You can eat all you want whenever you want. It's filling but very low in calories, you see. But there are lots of other foods you eat during the plan week.

Each day you eat certain foods, but only those foods. In all cases, eat all the soup you want during the week of the diet so you stay full or at least as full as you want to be anyway. For example, one day you eat all the vegetables you want plus the soup. Then on one day you eat all the vegetables plus all the fruits you want. You get plenty to eat and variation each day. Absent from the foods are breads and desserts. But the variation keeps it interesting though. Really this is a fat and calorie restricted diet and you will lose weight. It's not too hard to do since you do get plenty of food to keep you full. Not a balanced eating plan, it's only for a week after all. It's just a way to drop a few pounds in a hurry.

This plan has worked for me. It has several advantages. You get plenty to eat so you're not hungry all the time. Each day is different so it's not too boring. It's mostly normal sorts of food too and doesn't cost a lot. It's just fast and effective if you just want to shed a few pounds fast. It really only has long term benefits as part of a bigger plan to shed pounds and keep them off for good.
