Trailer style abodes complete with cleverly constructed interiors, fully working showers, the lot? Well, yes, but theres something else here too. A new sort of possibility. A different future, in which holidays are less about hot, aggravating searches for overpriced pubs and more about kicking back and relaxing in your favourite place on earth.

You know what the site is like already, because you picked it with particular care (once a static is in, its in it takes a lot of effort and money to shift it); and you dont have to put anything up, or tow anything, because the holiday home is already there. Buying static caravans is exactly the same as buying bricks and mortar holiday homes with the added attraction that you get to choose where they are, as well as what they are.

In recent years, the static caravans sale market has experienced an unprecedented upturn. Partly, this seems due to the recession, which has caused most British residents to rethink their holiday options and go for something smaller and more satisfying. Partly, though, its also due to the fact that a lot of British folk have started to realise that living simply on holiday is the perfect antidote to their usually pretty hectic lives. Static caravans are more than just holiday options theyre lifestyle choices, and affordable ones at that: choices that let people get back to the simpler side of life without having to pay through the nose for the privilege. What better way to enjoy the good life, than one that doesnt cost the earth?
