Buy Stuffed Animals

By:

When you buy stuffed animals, have you ever stopped to wonder what the plush toys might be thinking as you browse the shelves? Do they sit up a little straighter so they can be noticed or do they slink down so that they practically fall off the shelf and you'll have no other choice but to give them a second look? Do they hope that their personality and charm shine through so as to convince you they are 'the one'? Perhaps the sad ones try to look happy and the standoffish ones try to look lovable all in the hope you will choose them. Maybe they really aren't staring into nothingness while perched on the shelf, but rather, are scoping out the next person there to buy stuffed animals so they can get themselves ready to be chosen.

We will never really know what plush toys are thinking as we look them over. As we go up and down the aisles and aisles of toys looking to buy stuffed animals, it would certainly be wonderful to think that these lovely soft and plush creatures are actually thinking about us, hoping that we stop at the spot they are sitting in and reach out and take them with us. But, buying stuffed animals is a highly personal occupation. It's really serious business for some. After all, when we buy stuffed animals, we are most interested in the characters and histories of the plush toy, rather than their material value. Stuffed animals mean much more to us than just a plush toy; they are filled with character and charm and provide a link to our childhoods and simpler times. They are fantastic companions and each and every one has its own distinct personality; that's why when we buy stuffed animals, we may search for just the right one before we commit to making it our own.

After we buy stuffed animals, one thing is certain: having made the decision to either collect or just have them for the sheer enjoyment of it, few of us are ever able to give up these new found friends.
Some of us may choose to buy stuffed animals that are only associated with a certain kind of animal bears for example. If that's the case, choosing them is a highly personal affair. While some may prefer a certain type of bear (like a grizzly versus a brown bear), the true lover of stuffed animals loves them all, whatever their shape, size, age, or pedigree.

The next time you stop into a shop to buy stuffed animals, have a good look around and remember that someone is watching you from the shelves, hoping your all important decision will result in a new home for one of them.
