They must see them as a gimmick, and do not invest into making them usefull, are they real can be. You'll have to pay over 150 bucks for one that will cut for long time without sharpening.

Butterfly Knives constitue a realitively non-expensive solution for those who need a folding combat knife. They are really made for slaching an piercing, with long handles and long blades. We also discovered, with utter surprise, that butterfly knives are used for gardening, because they are big, easy to operate with gloved hands. Some hand impaired people use them, but less than the spring assisted or switchblade knives. We thing that's a question of age; as young folks, that are the majority of this knife users, do not have hands problems, yet.
