Bumbleride Queen B Stroller - What Sets It Apart From The Competition

Let me introduce you to the BumbleRide Queen B Stroller - a modern baby stroller coming in at the mid to high end of the market - which has all of the mod cons you'd expect for the money, whilst looking like a high class vintage pram from times gone by. In the relatively short time Ive been personally involved in the stroller market (my daughter is now four months old), Ive tried a couple - the MacLaren Techno XLR as well as the BumbleRide Queen B - both are great but are strong in slightly different departments. Read on to find out more about the Queen B, and my experiences compared to the Techno XLR.

Nobody can really argue that the Queen B isn't a great looking stroller. When I saw one in the park for the first time, I was immediately drawn by its visual appeal By giving the stroller the name 'Queen B' - BumbleRide immediately envoke an image of royalty, and you can easily imagine a stroller like this being used by the royal families. The upper part of the stroller (bassinet and seat alike) are covered in fine looking materials to make this a reality. This is supported by the frame, which is clean and modern in design, giving that very specific "vintage with a modern twist" look. Mine has definitely been the stroller creating the biggest stir amongst the new-moms walk-in-the-park group!

Looks aside, my idea behind getting the Queen B was that I wanted a stroller more suited to uneven ground than the Techno XLR. After a few months off, I'm now capable of taking longer walks off-road in the local hills. The Techno XLR proved to not be up to the job when I tried it on a more challenging off road route, not providing the stability I wanted. The Queen B, on the other hand, has proved to be a top performer wherever Ive taken it. Footpath or lack of, shallow or streep gradients, dirt tracks, wet groung, uneven ground - no issues at all. The BumbleRide Queen B, importantly, also has large tyres (which are filled with air) and a deluxe padded seat to ensure that my little one always gets the smoothest of rides.

It has been pretty decent out and about in the shopping mall, as well. When I've used it in the shops instead of the MacLaren, for whatever reason, it's been a breeze to move around in the tight spaces. It's also compact enough to fit snuggly in the car, and the handles are easily adjustable making it ideal if more than one person is going to push it. It is actually quite small when collapsed down fully, and if you need to you can take off the wheels to make it even smaller. The BumbleRide Queen B is certainly the winner in terms of being a real all-rounder, despite the fact that the MacLaren XLR just gets the nod for the shops or any tight-space situation.

About the Author:
To conclude, it depends what you're after - for a stroller that performs well on public transport or the local shops only - this may not be the one. If, however, youre after a stroller with the versatility to take around the shops easily, whilst also performing well in any environment in which youre likely to be out and about with your child (and one that looks great, too) - you should give the BumbleRide Queen B a serious look.
