British Airways is a complete service global airline. It offers all year-round low fares with a wide-ranging global route network flying to and from centrally-located airports.

British Airways is the principle carrier airline of the United Kingdom. It has its headquarters in Waterside near its main center at London Heathrow Airport. It is the largest airline in the United Kingdom on the basis of fleet size, international flights and destinations it caters. Its second center is London Gatwick Airport. The British Airways Group was started on 1 September 1974 through nationalization by the Labour Government of that time. In 2007, the carrier placed its next main order, marking the start of its long-haul fleet replacement, ordering Airbus A380s and Boeing 787s. The focus of the airline's long-haul fleet is the Boeing 747-400; with 49 carriers, British Airways is the largest operator of the type in the world. British Airways is one of the most popular airlines of the world. The average age of its fleet is 9.7 years. Its fleet includes Airbus A319-100, A320-100, A320-200, Boeing 737-300, 737-400, 737-500, 747-400, 757-200, 767-300ER, 777-200, and 777-200ER. At the present, British Airways covers approximately 550 destinations worldwide. In India, British Airways has flights to Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, and Bangalore.
