Many visitors that go to someplace new will rent a car to get around. Some places make this necessary because there is no other way to get around. Brisbane is not that kind of place at all. It is one of the best places to get out on the street and walk around to see the sights. There is a lot to see that is outside of Brisbane, and if it is your wish to explore the Queensland area, you will definitely want to rent a car.

For those of you that only want to stay in the city there is no reason really to not enjoy all that this adorable spot has to offer on foot or with the many forms of public transportation. If you are worried about getting from the airport to your accommodations you will find that many of these places provide a very convenient shuttle service to and from the airport. Many hotels can actually be reached by walking from the airport too.

It is a wonderful experience when you can walk around the sweet city of Brisbane. You will have a chance to get close to people and checking out all the incredible unique stores is a blast. You will feel swept back in time on the incredible cobbled stone roads and being able to walk along the streets will give you the chance to see a whole side of the city you would otherwise miss.

You will hear many different types of music being performed along the streets. Music performed by local talents looking to make it big and many are very talented. Several of the shops also display artwork from local talents as well, and while a trip to the museum or concert hall may be on your agenda, this is a fun and inexpensive way to really experience the pulse of Brisbane.

More than a city, Brisbane is like a small artist town with many incredible cafes and eateries along the downtown area as well. Delightful treats from around the world will please your senses whether you are looking for a fine dining restaurant or a small cafe for an afternoon cup of tea. There are many reasons why people fall head over heels in love with Brisbane, but perhaps one of the main ones is that everything is so convenient, you can very easily get around on foot.
