Think about it thoroughly and then decide what's best for the both you. Think about the time you've spent together and how it will go to waste if you break up with her. And think also of what you will gain by ending your relationship. You could have your peace of mind or you could be with the girl you really want. Weigh both sides carefully to avoid regretting your decision in the end.

Before you finally talk to her, give her hints like not answering her calls or not dropping by frequently. It's better to prepare her for what's coming. So she won't be surprised when you talk to her.

Look her in the eyes when talking. It would be good to let her know that you're serious about the break up. She might not take it seriously if you're talking and not looking at her. And it is a great insult to dump a girl without looking her in the eye.
When she gets angry, let her be. Let her express her anger because she's entitled to it. If she begs you not to leave her, reject her softly. As the song goes, break it to her gently. Tell her that it won't do both of you any good if you stay together. The end result would be the same, why suffer longer?

The most important thing is telling her the real reason, no matter what that is. Even though you know she'll be furious and will curse you to hell, tell her why you shouldn't be together anymore. If you fell out of love with her or if you found another woman, let her know. It won't make her feel better if you still lie to her in the end. At least you're being honest with her. And it will also clear you of your conscience.

Let her know that you'll still be there for her even if you're no longer a couple. Tell her that she can always call on you whenever she has problems or she needs you. Offer your friendship. They say that lovers can't be friends. But who knows? Sometimes it works. You just have to break up smoothly. Make sure that you don't lose touch with each other because no matter what happened, she's still a part of your life.
