Every day we bombard our body with chemicals. From fast foods, to energy drinks we are maintaining a constant high on these junk foods.

It's just an energy drink; what's the harm? Anyone can simplify things into a general question like that: it's just on cigarette, it's just one pain pill, it's just one hit of met, and the list goes on.

In a study done in 2004 it was reported that 8 percent of people had suffered from depression. Now in 2011 that number has almost doubled, 14 percent of the American people suffer from depression.

You can take a group of ten and find one of the ten that is depressed. Or at least is reportedly depressed.

Caffeine and MSG do a lot of things to our bodies that are not going to be advertised. For instance MSG is an excite-toxin meaning it is a toxic chemical that excites the nervous system.

That is kind of like what nicotine does; nicotine goes and fills in dopamine receptors with disgusting putrid nicotine, which causes your brain to think it feels good and consequently decreases natural dopamine secretions in the brain. MSG also fills brain receptors with faulty chemically enhanced compounds.

Studies have shown that fast foods actually become neurologically and physically addictive over time. That to me is a scary thing, and what makes it worse the number one demographic advertised to is kids... get them while they are young.

Caffeine is used for a lot of things; it will speed up your brain synapse, but unfortunately this is only temporary. What is worse, the sudden surge of chemically enhanced synapse actually damages the neurons, thus making habitual consumption of caffeinated beverages to be adversely disadvantageous.

Taurine, quarana, L-carnintine, sugars, and b-vitamins: All of these things are found in energy drinks. None of them are really terribly bad for you, unless you take them routinely and in enormous amounts.

Taurine is an amino acid that our body is already well capable of making. There is no real need to ever take any of this, and when we do take the grotesque amount that is in our energy drinks we are actually over whelming out body with the chemical.

Guarana sometimes called guaranine is basically just a different strain of caffeine. It does all the same things with just slightly a few more chemical components.

L-carnintine something that promotes metabolism and energy levels, but wait, we already produce a sufficient amount in our body. Overwhelming our bodies with chemicals just hurts our ability to create and manufacture our own.

By taking all these chemicals daily we start becoming dependent on them. It is a very low level addiction but any kind of addiction is one worth being avoided.
