You may often been confused with the idea if choosing BPO that will bring a very good opportunity for your career in future or not. You can notice pretty good example from the career graph of many people who are working in BPO and within 5 years they have improved themselves and progressed in such a way that we cannot but be impressed by their ascending career graph. BPOs are the industry where attrition rate is very high instead people can survive and improve themselves and get a good hike in their career and thereby achieving success in their career path. So the questions are if there is enough scope for self improvement and self progression why people want to quit from their job? This may be a paradox. Agents want to quit the job instead of high salaries because of odd timing and stressful work. For this cause, BPO job is supposed to be regarded as a short term career option.

But that scenario is changing fast. With the emergence of BPO destination countries and thanks to pressure on billing rates that are impacting revenues, high attrition is proving to be too costly for employers. The employees are making all efforts to provide long term growth opportunities to their employees. Apart from attractive paying off a long-term BPO career, the job profile in a BPO is equally challenging. For fresh college students who have just graduated themselves, BPO could be a very tantalizing and inspiring an offer for them because a basic degree and a good communication skill can offer you a quality job. Apart from the perquisites or privileges it offers, there is a pick up and drop facility available. Extremely attractive cafeteria and its decoration has always been a point of interest and amusement for the employees. Apart from that there is always a strive for keeping these employees busy in a atmosphere where they can enliven themselves with a lot of fun and frolic in order to boost up their energy and imbibe lot of zeal into their business .

As the agents and the other employees of a BPO organization has to stay on floor and busy in their respective business for more than 9 hours a day, so this job involve lot of boredom and frustration especially for those people who are interacting with the customers . Though this is the seamy side of working with a call center or BPO, if an employee has the track record of working in a company for more than 5 years tenure, they can add feathers on their hat by a series of promotions and thereby they may be profited by the companys rules and regulations beneficial for them. There is a burgeoning opportunity for the employees of the BPOs, as there are high scopes for career development in back end transaction, technical support services, data analytics, knowledge and legal process outsourcing and many more. So you are advised to stay for 3 or 4 years in a BPO job to get in-depth knowledge of operation process, gain knowledge in voice based transaction and different verticals and try to step in the ladder of success because what BPO companies are trying to do is to promote people within the ranks ensuring faster career growth of an employee who stays rather than quits.
