Boston Lexus Dealer To Offer great New Lexus Look

If this is what the next generation of Lexus vehicles will look like, then honey I want a Lexus! I imagine this phrase could be repeated a substantial amount of times once the public gets a good look at the new concept vehicle featuring an all new Lexus look, a vehicle that was recently debuted at the New York Auto Show. Although Lexus admitted anything that will show up at Lexus Massachusetts dealerships like your local Boston Lexus dealer may not be identical to the vehicle shown at the New York Auto Show, even the addition of just a few of the new features to a future Lexus lineup will no doubt get the brand more (and deserved) recognition.
The biggest change to the overall Lexus look seen on the concept at the New York Auto Show, which is being called the Lexus LX-Gh, is found in the grille, which Lexus personnel are calling the spindle. The spindle is also the feature that upgrades the Lexus look so significantly. By changing the grille, this Lexus concept experienced the same phenomenon that often happens when women get a great new hairstyle. A great new hairstyle can sometimes make the previous hairstyle look worse than it ever did pre-new hairstyle. The Lexus LX-Gh is causing this same marvel it is so great that the previous great designs of the Lexus grille suddenly appear not so, well, great.
The new Lexus grille is over twice the size of the grille featured by the current generation of Lexus vehicles. The size and shape of the current Lexus grille comprises just the top half of the new Lexus grille. The new bottom half is a slightly larger mirrored reflection of the existing grille. Overall, the shape of the grille is a rectangular hourglass.
Kengo Matsumoto, a general manager of the Lexus Design Division speaks about the ideas incorporated when Lexus engineers designed the new spindle grille, saying, For this concept, Lexus designers studied characteristics that are often considered contradictory and difficult to execute together. The captivating design of the LF-Gh concept examines the possibility of balancing what are normally opposing qualities, such as style and functionality. He also said that the new grille is a key feature that will be inherited by future Lexus models and that Lexus fans will have input in the final new face to be incorporated into the overall design of future Lexus vehicles.
Lexus executives were fairly vague about when the public could actually expect to see the new Lexus spindle grille and the other new features found on the Lexus LX-Gh (read redesigned head and tail lights, among other changes) on a Lexus in Massachusetts and on vehicles for sale at a local Boston Lexus dealer. Lexus is currently enjoying a wave of success due to their recently released lineup of hybrid vehicles, which are catapulting Lexus to the top of the industry for luxury hybrid vehicles. Thus, the possibility of a combination of efficient technology and killer aesthetics could make for a very bright future for the foreign automaker.
