Boston Bruins Tickets - No Beans About The Bruins!

Currently the Boston Bruins are holding their spot at the top of the league with 34 wins and 8 losses and may give contenders quite the run for their money the rest of the season.

Bruins defensemen include Zdeno Chara, Andrew Ference, Shane Hnidy, Matt Hunwick, Matt Lashoff, Mark Stuart, Aaron Ward and Dennis Wideman. Goalies on the ice are Manny Fernandez and Tim Thomas. Forwards out kicking major butt are P.J. Axelsson, Patrice Bergeron, Byron Bitz, Phillip Kessel, Chuck Kobasew, David Krejci, Milan Lucic, Petteri Nokelainen, Michael Ryder, Marc Savard, Vladimir Sobotka, Marco Sturm, Shawn Thornton, Blake Wheeler, and Stephane Yelle. Exceptions to the kicking capacities include Bergeron, Kessel, Sturm and Ference, who are in injured reserve.

The training staff deserves a helmets off and theres no question about that. Included in the recognition roster are athletic trainer Don DelNegro, strength and conditioning coach John Whitesides, physical therapist Scott Waugh, assistant athletic trainer and massage therapist Derek Repucci, equipment manager Mark Dumas, assistant equipment manager Keith Robinson and assistant equipment manager Mark Dumas II. Thats right dad and son handle the equipment well, thank you.

The coaches are keeping the skates on the ice and in rotation. Head coach Claude Julien, assistant coach Doug Houda, assistant coach Craig Ramsay, assistant coach Geoff ward and goaltending coach Bob Essensa are a unique collection of experience and talent that help to continue pushing the Bruins towards higher heights. Proof of the pudding may be the comeback made recently against the Toronto Maple Leafs where the Bruins came back from the third period to take home a win 4-3.

The draft picks this year included Joe Colborne, Maxime Sauve, Michael Hutchinson, Jamie Arniel, Nicholas Tremblay and Mark Goggin to round out the top picks, who came to the Bruins from AJHL Camrose, QMJHL Val DOr, OHL Barrie and Sarnia, CJHL Smiths Falls and High-CT Choate-Rosemary.

With a majority of wins under their belts thus far this year, the Bruins dont have to ask permission to do what they do. Games left this month include home workouts for visitors which include the Capitals, Devils and Rangers. Next month, well see the Bruins take on the Flyers, Sharks, panthers, Ducks and Capitals on their own ice. The Bruins will hit the road and do a little scraping with the Canadiens, Flyers, Senators, Devils, Predators, Hurricanes, Panthers and Lightning. In March the Bruins will work the home ice in games against the Flyers, Coyotes, Blackhawks, Senators, Islanders, Kings, Devils, and Lightning. Games on the road for the Bruins will place them on the ice as the visitors in games against the Rangers, Blue Jackets, Penguins and Maple Leafs.

As the 2008-2009 NHL season comes to a close, the Bruins will host the Senators, Rangers and Canadiens at home games during the month of April. They will also travel for away games against the Senators and Sabres, rounding out the season with a final game on April 12th against the Islanders.
