A local Boston used Infiniti dealership and new Infiniti dealership will be featuring one of the flagship vehicles in its line up this month, thanks to an impressive new award recently earned by the model. The model in question is part of Infinitis G lineup. Specifically, the 2011 Infiniti G 37 is the award-winning model. Another G model is also being featured on the lot this month in Boston. Infiniti G Convertible vehicles display many of the same great features, which ultimately earned the Infiniti G 37 its award, and thus will be displayed as well.
And what is the award in question? Well, it is the prestigious Top Picks award, given by the arguably even more prestigious Consumer Reports. To start, the award is exciting for the Infiniti G37 because the vehicle beat out high-class luxury competitors like the BMW 3 Series and the Audi A4 during the competition. These brands are truly the essence of luxury and have been on the luxury scene for many years something Infiniti cannot claim wholeheartedly. Whats more, Infiniti strives to provide entry-level prices with its luxury lineup, again adding to the impressiveness of this award.
But the award is also impressive thanks to the fact that it was given out by Consumer Reports. The rating company is well known for providing unbiased write-ups on a multitude of different products, but it should be noted that they award their automobile titles in a much different way than most automobile awards are given. Unlike most automobile rating companies, Consumer Reports buys the vehicle they are testing through an undercover employee. By doing so, Consumer Reports ensures the vehicle they are sold is just like any other vehicle of the same model that would be sold to the average customer. This way, Consumer Reports avoids being given a beefed-up, specially cared for version of the model in question.
Consumer Reports chose the Infiniti G37 for its notably better abilities in both accelerating and handling. The vehicle scored higher in both categories than many of the other luxury vehicles tested. Whats more, Consumer Reports noted how luxurious the interior of the G37 is. This is the fifth-year in a row that the vehicle has earned a spot on the Top Picks list. Specifically, the vehicle ranked fifth out of twenty-one vehicles.
In general, Consumer Reports described the entire Infiniti G line up as having something for everyone. With this comment, the company was referring to consumers choice between the Infiniti G sedan (the G37), the G convertible, and the G coupe. All of these vehicles have specialty features all their own, but they also all share the impressive characteristics that earned the G37 its Top Picks award. Whats more, they are also priced similarly to the G37. The vehicles impressively low price tag of just $37,225 was another influential factor in earning the vehicle the award.
