Boston: Lexus Dealers Dance To The Beat Of A New Drum

By:

Have you, as of late, found yourself getting ready for an evening on the town and desiring to jam to the new Lexus commercials? If so, do not be alarmed because you are not alone in Boston. Lexus has teamed up with industry leading DJs, music producers and artists in an effort to get you to think about Lexus differently, while dancing to the beat of a new drum. The behind the scenes cause can be attributed to the new model from Lexus. Massachusetts residents, thanks to this new model, can now jam to the new beats for forty-two miles and will only have used one tank of gas. That kind of fuel efficiency certainly does provoke dancing to the beat of a new drum.
Lexus recently released its brand new 2011 CT200h model, which radically redefined the world of hybrid cars by introducing one of the first hybrid luxury vehicles affordable by a decent portion of car buying consumers. Therefore, to match such a radical move Lexus desired for a radical advertising campaign.
Thus, Lexus sought out some of the top names in the musical industry and asked them to put together beats that matched the vibe given off by the new 2011 CT200h, which Lexus is cleverly and seductively calling, the darker side of green. The likes of Alex Da Kid, LA Riots, Dave Aude, Bones Domingo, DJ Nesty and Derek Bramble, who are all award winning producers and who have worked with top artists such as Eminem, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Don Omar and David Bowie, respectively, all collaborated to come up with the catchy beats that play in the background of the four Lexus CT200h commercials currently in circulation.
With this advertising campaign, Lexus is clearly reaching out to a younger generation, which could easily be considered counterintuitive by a luxury automaker. However, the Lexus CT200h is surprisingly affordable, starting at just $29,120. In addition, the vehicle utilizes new design cues that are as cutting edge and modern as any vehicle currently on the market. LED headlights are ferocious looking while 17-inch, 10 spoke alloy wheels complete the vehicles hip look.
But the real factor causing the 2011 CT200h to move to the beat of its own drum is its futuristic engine. The vehicle utilizes a 1.8-liter in-line four, Atkinson cycle engine with an aluminum block and head. This incredible piece of machinery allows the vehicle to earn a combined 42 miles per gallon fuel efficiency that improves by one mile per gallon during city driving. Whats more, however, is the fact that despite its hybrid characteristic, the vehicle still moves like one would expect a Lexus to move. The CT200h accelerates from zero to sixty in just 9.8 seconds and has a top speed of 113 miles per gallon. Finally, the vehicles handling is literally flawless. For a night on the town in downtown Boston, Lexus CT200h is by far the chicest option.
For more information on the vehicle, including financing options, so you can dance to the beat of a new drum as well, visit your local Lexus Massachusetts dealership. And dont forget to checkout the new beats of the Lexus CT200h commercials. Heres to dancing the night away!
