Boost Your Page Rank With Article Marketing

By:

High page rank can be very easy to obtain. If your website's URL is unique, it will have a very high page rank. Domain name relevancy plays a very big role in whether your domain name is a popular search phrase.

Raising your SERP for specific keywords is a different story. This is where the magic happens and the hard work begins. Keyword placement is very different from page rank.

What Is SERP and Is It Important?

That is a loaded question that many webmasters ask. SERP stands for Search Engine Results Page and yes it is important. The higher your website's SERP, the more qualified traffic you receive.

Qualified traffic is comprised of people who are driving around the information super-highway looking for your products. Put your articles about bright red, tie-closure sandals in front of people looking for them. Include information about other shoes and accessories that match.

You probably don't sell sandals, but you get the idea. Articles give you the opportunity to present your product or service in a variety of ways. The most important part is getting the information in front of people searching for your product.

Page Rank Means More Traffic

Article marketing with specific niche keywords or key phrases is by far the best way to raise your SERP. Articles allow you to be creative with your online marketing campaign. Use keywords to your advantage by writing persuasive articles centered on them.

Primary keywords are the most important words you expect people to search for when looking for your product or service. Secondary keywords are less searched but excellent fillers. Use keyword research tools to discover the best search terms.

Never use keywords with more than 2 percent density. That means for every 100 words, don't include your keyword more than twice. A 500 word article mustn't contain a single keyword more than 10 times.

Keyword placement is equally as important. Always try to include your primary keyword in the title, first paragraph and last paragraph. All other instances may be sprinkled throughout.

Work your primary keyword into your author resource box. Readers often read the author resource box before they finish reading the article. Make sure they understand your affiliation with the primary topic of the article.

Relevant Categories

Article distribution to thousands of publishers is recommended. A wide audience is very important. Equally important is the depth of publication.

Article marketing helps reach both a wide and deep target market. Article directories provide hundreds of specific keyword categories to direct traffic to your article and business. Always place your article in the category that describes it best.

A wide reach is just as important as a targeted depth. Wide distribution reaches people who may not realize how much they need your services. They aren't necessarily looking for your service until the information is placed before them.

Relevant Links Increase Page Rank

Each article you publish creates an immediate relevant link back to your website. Relevancy is extremely important to search engines. Links back to your website increase your website's popularity.

Relevant links carry more weight with search engines than random links from websites that have no relationship to your own. Article marketing allows you to inform a wide and targeted audience about your product while building relevant links. In the process of educating your target audience, you're also building page rank and SERP.

Publish your articles with popular directories that rank high on search engines. Links from an article directory with a high page rank that take the reader directly to your website increase your link popularity. Articles are an impressive way to build the page rank and SERP of your business website.
