Booking Everything Online

Booking Everything Online

Travel sites make it easy to do all the work and research you need to plan and execute a vacation. What flights are available? Check the website. What hotels are still open? Check the website. Am I getting the best price on this rental car? Check the website. The research has already been done for you for the most part.

Some sites even list all the choices from other sites so that you can compare and contrast with the touch of a mouse. Need to book the flight? Do it online. Need to reserve a room near Daytona Beach for your third cousins wedding? Do it online. You don't even have to talk to a real person if you don't want to, and who really does anyway? People are annoying and they don't often have all the information you need anyway.

Better to get the cold hard facts right from the website. Okay, so maybe I'm exaggerating a little bit, but the internet sure is convenient and makes booking and planning a heck of a lot easier. Now, with all the rooms and flights and rental cars are taken care of, now all you have to do is pack the suitcase and decide who gets to go with you. If it is your cousins wedding, make sure you don't take anyone you like. Nobody should be subjected to a third cousins wedding anyway.

Packing is one of the best parts about getting ready for a trip. It's like putting a puzzle together. You have to get all the pieces to fit together and fit in the suitcase. Part of the fun is deciding what you need and what you don't need to take. Just remember that if you are flying, don't take inappropriate things on the plane. I know it seems crazy, but they don't like you trying to bring certain things on the plane. Most of it seems like common sense, but the airline websites have lists of what can and cannot be taken as carryon luggage.

These may seem silly, but obviously someone tried taking a weed whacker and gasoline on a flight. They also list chainsaws as not being allowed on the plane. That means someone tried to take one on a flight. A good rule of thumb is that if you question whether or not it can be carried on the plane, it's safe to say it shouldn't be. If you have a question, don't do it.
