I would have prepared myself for it, if at all I would have known about it. These days your friends never ask you about your availability, they just ask you about your plans and if you dont have any plans it means that you will be accompanying them with their plan.
Does it make sense? If I dont have any plans it doesnt mean that I would like to spend it with anyone who comes up with the plan. Its so irritating when the person casually ask whats your weekend plan. We never speak about our plans to strangers and acquaintances. So not to rub them wrong we say that we havent planned yet. They always mistake it as we are free for their plans and later bitch about us not involving ourselves with their plans.
The same doesnt go with our close friends coz they are aware of our every plan. They directly come with the plan and even dont wait for your reply. They will be shocked not to find you when the plan is being implemented. I had one experience when all of a sudden our group decided to hang out at
Panoramic resort Karnala. There was no particular reason to plan but someone mentioned water pool and all of a sudden we decided to have an outing to a water resort. Panoramic water resort was the default option as it was the one which was near our house and also the biggest and the best in and around Mumbai. We had tried many water parks but the fun which we have here is second to none.
This outing was missed by one of our friend. He was not present in the schedule place where we were supposed to meet. All of us went to his home to check out and it was only then we knew that he was not keeping well and he didnt messaged coz he knew that no matter if he called or messaged we will be coming to his house. Such is our friendship that everyone knows each other well. We did cancel our plan to go to water resort that day but postponed it to some other day.
