It can automatically park itself with the assistance of BMW Parking Assistant feature. This works with ultrasound sensors in the side indicator surrounds to look for parking spaces available for parallel parking. The driver just has to press the gas and the brake pedals while the parking assistant controls the steering wheel.
There are additional features that can be found in BMW F10 but it is optional. Integral Active Steering which works invisibly as it turns the opposite way from the front wheels and turns the same way as the high speeds.
