Blue Collar Trading Manual: Superior Trading Method Or Scam?

Blue Collar Trading Manual: Superior Trading Method Or Scam?

By:

As a veteran trader in the stock and commodity markets, I get to review alot of new trading material that comes into the market place each year. Almost every month, I see a slew of new trading systems, newsletters, commodity trading techniques, "secret" technical analysis methods, and tons of hype surrounding a new software program that professes to be the next "Holy Grail" of trading. Sadly, 99.9% of these releases never live up to the incredible hype surrounding their launch and leaves many aspiring traders feeling more helpless in confronting the markets as well as lighter in the wallet. Personal experience has shown me that the more effective trading techniques are never found in the ad pages of Investor's Business Daily but by less publicized work from experienced traders. One of these works is the Blue Collar Trading Manual by Billy Williams over at StockOptionSystem.Com.

I came across StockOptionSystem.Com after perusing some trading articles on the web when I came across an article on momentum stock selection written by a trader named Billy Williams. I went to his site to check it out and found several articles on stock option trading and online stock trading with emphasis on momentum stocks. I also read thru his blog entry and found his stock picks were spot on which impressed me.

When I came to the product section I discovered the sales page for the Blue Collar Trading Manual and read thru it with great interest. The sales letter emphasized several key lessons to be taught and I decided to purchase it. My reasoning was that as long as I picked up one thing to help me with my trading then its worth it. Besides, there is also a six month guarantee with no questions asked if I wasn't happy so I knew I could get my money back.

There are two bonuses that come with the manual and both are easily downloaded in PDF format within seconds of purchasing. I printed them off and began studying them and found them to be direct as well as effective methods in there own right. I found myself smiling as the author began to recount his beginnings as a trader and some of the gut wrenching obstacles he encountered because it reminded me so much of my own beginning. With persistence, he details how he refined his trading edge with statistical analysis to lower his risk profile while quantifying how he raised the probability of winning on each trade.

He then detailed many of his methods and trading techniques for selecting the best stocks for large upswings, momentum stock trading, a simple option trading strategy that consistently brings in money almost every week, possibly the best system for spotting turns in the market that I have ever seen, and a lot more. Even more, if you have any trading experience, you will be able to tell that this was written by a trader who has more than had his knocks in the market and that the success he enjoys now is in large part because of the lessons he has had to learn from those knocks.

However, the manual is not without its flaws. Namely, this work was written by an accomplished trader but now a professional writer. Its not Shakespeare but if you more concerned with the value of the content then that should not be an issue. If your a student of the game then you will find that this material adds value to your own knowledge and trading.

In addition, the material assumes that the reader has some basic understanding of trading jargon and price patterns. The author is very upfront in the introduction that he does not want to waste the reader's time on alot of filler about technical analysis and the like when they can just Google search that material for free on the internet. He wants to impart the "meat" of his methods without alot of fluff in between the points he is trying to make. While I can appreciate that as a veteran trader myself if you are an absolute beginner make sure you are aware of it so that you don't feel too lost.

In closing, I believe that both the aspiring and veteran trader can receive a great deal of value by having this work added to their personal trading library. The author's stock and option trading methods can help any trader find the consistency and reliability they seek in their individual trading. If you are looking at expanding your trading knowledge or trying to find the missing pieces to your trading game I highly recommend the Blue Collar Trading Manual.
