With your new blog that has some content and popularity, you should then monetize it by applying for a Google adsense account. This will allow Google to place pay-per-click adverts on your blog. When visitors to your blog click on these adverts, you will automatically generate revenue even if they do not purchase items advertized on the blog.

In addition, there are people who will pay you in order to post articles on your blog. There are also companies that will pay you well to post articles about them and put a link directing your visitors to their website.
