Blackberry Playbook Is Getting High Achievements

The BlackBerry PlayBook debuted behind some heavy hitters in the tablet world. It was not expected to do very well because the world had already been given great options. However, it has been disappointing its naysayers from day one.

This small light tablet is a force to be reckoned with. At just 0.4 inches thick, 0.9 pounds, and the all black rubberized plastic, it is not really much to take notice of; however, this gadget has been made to be the best in the professional world.

RIM (Research-in-Motion) made the BlackBerry Singapore with a 1GHz dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM. This makes it off to a great start allowing great speed on a 7 inch high resolution screen. This tablet shows videos in HD better than many laptops that are available.

Now the professional world has the capability of using Word on the Go and PowerPoint directly on their tablet. They can be pulled up for viewing and with the security placed on the tablet they can be protected from wandering eyes. This is the business persons friend.

The BlackBerry software is archiving the popularity worldwide for its user friendly interface. It took many people by surprise that this was only available through the persons own BlackBerry phone. Many people today have opted for other operating systems so this came as a drawback for many individuals. However, it turns out RIM knew what they were doing.

After being the first tablet to be awarded FIPS certification, which means that the tablet can now be used in the federal government, it was clear what the intention of the BlackBerry Bridge was. Data for personal, business, or government are only available through the Bluetooth connection to the BlackBerry Smartphone. This makes security tighter on the phone. It is understandable why this phone was made with the professional in mind. This will make it easy to view data immediately while out and about and do any editing that is necessary. Many people who already have a BlackBerry phone and work in the government should probably consider getting a BlackBerry PlayBook and vice versa.

Now, RIM cannot only claim to have the first professional-grade tablet, but can show their credentials. The BlackBerry PlayBook was recently given the Best in Show and Best in FOSE in handheld device category. This was at the federal government information technology conference. This literally puts the PlayBook in a league of its own instead of dragging behind its predecessors.
