The BlackBerry Curve is surely going beyond expectations. The Curve touch screen, soon to be introduced in the market, appears to be still in the battle whereas the BlackBerry Bold still seems to be somewhere having introduced the BlackBerry Bold 9900 and 9930 in the market already. Since they were launched in the market back in 2007, the BlackBerry Curve phones have continued to display that they are the most loved BlackBerry phones of all times. There are at least five group series that have already been launched starting with the Curve 8300 which was later followed by the Curve 8900, with the Curve 8500 coming up months later. In order to understand the expectations of the BlackBerry Curve models, we need to be able to display particular positive reviews from various Curve lovers.

The BlackBerry Curve 8900 had better reviews compared to the BlackBerry Curve 8300. This is because the phone was thought to be in the line of BlackBerry phones that supported the 3G capability which was like a dream come true to the BlackBerry Curve users, as this would have enhanced the browsing power. Although this probable positive review was ideally voted in by many, others maintained that the phone was a bit sluggish. This phone was released in February 2009 and was nicknamed the javelin in Asia, perhaps because of the browser. Proof that the Curve phones are always moving forward and updating with technology! Curve phones have related similarities to the BlackBerry Bold and Torch phones. These similarities can be pinpointed on some of the grounds where Research In Motion Inc released the BlackBerry Curve 3G. This phone did not only have the similarities of providing a 3G internet connectivity, but it also provided the user with the Operating System 6 which contributed to efficiency in browsing.

The manufacturing of the BlackBerry Curve phones is still going on with the Curve 9350 scheduled to be released soon. This is a phone which will be running the current OS 7 and thus standing proof that the Curve series of smartphones will and are still beyond the expectations. This is because there was a delay especially to updating the 2mp camera to 5mp. With even the release of the BlackBerry Curve 9300 3G, the restrictions were still maintained at the 2mp which had been held on up to the release of 3 more models within the same series from 8300.
