I was thinking the perfect gift for my girlfriend on her birthday would be a gourmet gift basket. Wouldnt that be a fun surprise? I would love the doorbell ring and have a fabulous gourmet gift basket there with all her yummy favorites. I would love to have the doorbell ring on my birthday, so I think it will be perfect for my BFF. I have had a hard time thinking of the perfect gift, but what girl doesnt like gourmet food. I definitely wouldnt say no, it sounds delicious. Maybe they have a buy one get one free on all gourmet gift baskets, now that would be the perfect gift for both of us!

My kids had teacher appreciation week last week at their school. I was looking for something special that didnt take a lot of work on my part, but that they could really enjoy and would appreciate. I am so grateful for all they do for my children there is no way I could repay them, but a small token of my appreciation was definitely due. You dont want just muffins, but you want ooey, gooey, moist flavorful muffins. You dont want just cookies, but cookies that remind you of your childhood and that you can only buy in specialty shops. The kind of cookies your mom spent the whole week before Christmas making for all your neighbors. You dont want a flimsy basket or cheap ribbon. You want the presentation to look as good as the food tastes.
