If you enjoy eating out, then Birmingham has a vast selection of restaurants to choose from. If you are looking for Indian food then Asha's is an excellent choice. Owned by Asha Bhosle, Bollywood's most recorded singer, the restaurant recently received Best Newcomer in the British Curry Awards. Alternatively, if you are looking for an up-market eatery, there is Simpson's Restaurant by Andreas Antona, who has a Michelin star. The restaurant is located in Edgbaston, Birmingham and specialises in French cuisine. The restaurant is situated in a listed building and is surrounded by manicured gardens, making for the most fantastic backdrop. Other restaurants worth considering are La Tasca, which is a Spanish restaurant situated off Broad Street offering Tapas and paella or Bank, which offers city centre dining and has been receiving awards for the quality of food being produced.

If you are into theatre, then Birmingham has the Hippodrome to offer. To some, the Birmingham Hippodrome is the nations favourite and sells more seats than any other theatre in Britain each year. There is also the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, which works with writers and directors to premire many new plays every year. Alternatively, there is the Old Rep or Old Joint Stock Theatre. The Old joint Stock Theatre is a city centre pub which has successfully undergone a 350,000 investment to produce an 80 seat theatre above the pub in roBirmingham is situated in the heart of England and has some of the best nightlife and entertainment to be found anywhere in the UK. With a huge young population, which comprises of plenty of students, it is little surprise that there is so much diversity to be found.oms which were derelict.

Birmingham's clubbing scene is amongst some of the most cutting edge to be found anywhere. Hosting clubs such as the legendary Miss Moneypennys, Gatecrasher and Godskitchen. The Q Club was re-opened in September 2007 after being left derelict for 6 years and is hosting Cream and Atomic Jam nights. Situated in a grade 2 listed, Central Methodist Hall, the club boasts 7 rooms playing some of the most cutting edge dance music. If you are into mainstream clubbing, Oceana in Birmingham is definitely worth a mention. The club boasts 7 themed rooms including a futuristic Ice House and VIP areas. There are too many clubs in Birmingham to name them all, however, it is a safe bet to say that whatever scene you are into, you will find it in Birmingham.

If you enjoy a gamble then the Grosvenor Casino situated in Broad Street is worth a visit. Open for 24 hours a day, you will find good food, bars and casino games, everything you need for a good night out.
