Big Whitney Houston Concert Fails To Impress In Brisbane

Since she had not visited in more than 20 years for a concert, there were high hopes and expectations for the Whitney Houston concert in Brisbane Australia. The show, Nothing But Love Tour, sold tons of tickets because people here were so excited to see her after all this time. Unfortunately there wasn't much about the actual performance to be impressed about.

We all know about the hard times that she has had through the last in the past two decades. They have all been well publicized. There has been endless trouble with her marriage and of course all of the drugs that you hear about whenever her name is mentioned as well. There is more to the list of issues that have plagued Houston and all of it was clearly evident by the way she attempted to perform for this show.

She seemed to make it through just the first 2 songs before things started to go bad. Only two songs and then she has to take a break and let her brother and the rest of the band take over for a while. So while she was nowhere to be seen they plated a few of her well known tunes to keep the crowd occupied.

She did come back to sing the incredible song, I Will Always Love You, but had issues all through it. She had to stop partway through the song to have some water to drink and then started up again, this by no means sounding like she did when she recorded this song at first. It was obvious that many of the previously exhilarated fans had lost all their excitement because they began leaving in droves well before the concert was supposed to be over. A lot of these want what they paid for the ticket refunded because it was such an awful concert.

So many people were disappointed about this concert that there have been many demands for refunds. It is not surprising because she barely sung through half on the concert. When she did sing it was not even close to what people though that they could expect from her. It really isn't fair that all the people that took the time and paid the expense to get to Brisbane will just have to live with the disappointment of the show. It is pretty basic that if someone can't manage to do a concert then why even try, because a lot of people will not be interested to hear anything that she has to offer again.
