Big Teddy Bears

Big teddy bears, small teddy bears, large teddy bears, jumbo teddy bears - what's not to love, no matter the size? Big teddy bears are nothing more than a larger version of the iconic soft toy, made even bigger than the original so as to be enjoyed that much more.

Big teddy bears are just one more plush toy to add to a soft toy collection, decorate a bedroom, or sit in a playroom waiting for their owner to come and play with them. They never go out of style and they are always that tried and true toy you can count on for life-long friendship and companionship. Anyone who owns a big teddy bear or two, knows that this soft toy is much more than just material stuffed with a cotton-like substance. Big teddy bears are there for us to share our triumphs and disasters, comfort us in times of need, and join with us in adventures great and small. Who didn't have a teddy bear that did all this for them and more?

It's true that some bears need more looking after than others; big teddy bears for instance, may get 'dragged' or thrown around because of their size, but that's no way to treat a friend. Big teddy bears need to be treated with the same care and respect afforded their much smaller brother and sisters. In fact, should it ever come to pass that your big teddy bears need to go to another home, the greatest attention and thought must be given as to where they will be placed. After all, you don't want to send them somewhere where they will be left alone or even cast aside. That just would not do.

Big teddy bears are every inch a bear, but at the same time are not unlike the dolls who must have the qualities we demand. Many big teddy bears have adjustable arms and legs, some can even have their heads turned from side to side. They are a precious gift of true adaptability since they can be made to crawl, climb, stand, or sit. In any one of these positions, they remain delightfully themselves, but also lend themselves to large imaginations which can suggest to us whatever special being we choose them to be.

However a big teddy bear is perceived - its overall appeal varies greatly from one person to the next. Two people can fall in love with the same teddy bear face. It's impossible to to really put a price on the appeal of a bear as one that is deemed 'handsome' could win out over an 'interesting' one, every time or, vice, versa.
