Are you making bad Forex trades left and right, and you just don't know what you're doing so wrong to not be making the Forex profits you desire? At the risk of sounding like too much of a clich - you should know that you are not alone. In fact, I too was in your situation seven years ago.

One of the things I like to teach my foreign exchange market students is that more than likely, you are not trading with the right mentality. Before you leave thinking that is a load of hogwash, I think you might want to hear me out.

Traders who are new to the Forex market are, 9 out of 10 by my findings, looking for a quick profit. In other words, these people are looking for a button to push that says "give me free money." Trust me, if Forex was that easy, more people would know about it. Millions of people trade on Forex, but only a percentage of those traders really know how to approach the market.

I want you to go into trading Forex as if you are starting out at a four year university. At a university like this, you will not be expected to finish 120 hours of schooling over night. Not only is that impossible, it's downright insane.

Start trading Forex with a learning mentality. Take notes on every single one of your trades. Not just the best ones or the worst ones, but all of them. Learn what works for you and what doesn't. Follow other traders and listen to their advice.

There are many things you can do to trade on Forex with a learning - or what I like to call - a winning mentality. Whatever you do, though, don't walk into Forex thinking it's going to be a cakewalk to more money in your bank account. That's simply a very dangerous, dangerous road to travel.
