When choosing virus protection software it is wise to stick to the major brands, Norton, McAfee, Zone Alarm or even AVG to name a few. They seem to be the most reliable and up to date on the latest threats and they offer real time protection and immediately let you know (by a pop up message) when you are on a site that is potentially hazardous. Some will even block your access to an infected site.

One Money Making Program That Does Not Work

This is one of the common programs or job offer you will run into that just does not produce very good results or pay very little for your time and effort.

Good paying Data Entry positions are simply rare to find and one that is commonly advertised is for Captcha workers - Data Entry.

I am sure you have seen these images when first setting up a Yahoo email account or buying tickets through Ticketmasters and the like. A simple explanation on how these companies operate is this; they have you login to their servers and on their end they have operators that are setting up thousands of email accounts, Yahoo, Google and such. Then as soon as they hit the Caotcha image it is transferred quickly back to you for you to type in the translation. They use very fast servers and require you to be very fast with your responses and data entry.

The companies that do this are fraudulent in that they use these email accounts either to sell them to other companies or individuals to spam various offers, products and promotions all over the internet, or actually do the spaming themselves.

The pay is usually only a buck or two per thousand images that you enter correctly and you are lucky if they pay you at all. Stay away from this type of work. You will not ever make very much money and could get yourself into serious legal trouble if you get caught up in this type of activity.
