One sitcom that I relish watching again and again is 'Friends', produced by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, and was aired on NBC from September 22, 1994 to May 6, 2004. There are still many repeated telecasts of these series to-this-day. The series starts with a group of 6 friends in a cafe and revolves around their life, and over a course of series gradually builds-up the relationships. This is one of the most successful sitcoms of all the time and was nominated for 63 Primetime Emmy Awards. Each single episode is mind-blowing with funny dialogues and facial expressions. The end-season series closed with cliffhanger ending leaving the viewers in a dilemma, with each and every episode. The Show was broadcasted internationally, received positive reviews and created a huge cultural impact.
The other best sitcom that delights me is 'Home Improvement', that was aired during the early 90's and ended somewhere in late 90's. It was show was created by Matt Williams, Carmen Finestra and David McFadzean. The show was one of the most watched sitcoms in the American market and received positive reviews and won several awards. Home Improvement is all about the Taylor family, involved in improving their house and the TV show, 'Tool Time' hosted by the main character and his friend, and thus eluding the show's title to a 'Pun'. The show is based on the stand-up comedy of Tim Allen, who is also the protagonist in Home Improvement.
