Preschool is an optional school experience that is designed for children at least two and a half years old, until the age of five when they enter kindergarten. You can teach the children about different animals and have them placed by them in the correct habitat as it will increase their knowledge immensely and you can have different animal tracks to match the footprint that each animal makes and see if the children can perform the task successfully given them the clues.

Precautions and Tips for setting-up the Playground Equipment:

The playground for children should be spacious and well-ventilated. If there is a shortage of space, the layout of the playground should be planned in such a way that provides maximum fresh air and sunlight to the children.


You should make sure that the equipment should not be at a great height as the children handling them are small.

Utmost care should be taken into consideration to avoid equipment with sharp edges. If the equipment has sharp edges, it should be covered with an effective material so that injury could be prevented to the children.

The quantity of toys should be accurate so that all the pupils get an equal chance to play with them.

The toys should be of rubber or plastic which are kept in the playground to avoid any kind of accidental injuries.

Protective gates should be erected wherever mandatory so that the children do not the leave the school premises on their own.
