2007's Best Hair Straighteners and Flat Irons
CurlytoStraight.com announces the best 2007 hair straighteners.
The standards used to decide this "Best Of" list are; customer support, reliability, customer reviews and product features. The following review doesn't talk about all of the classes of hair straighteners or flat irons available on the market. Just top tier products were examined and the cost were not considered.
The following reviews are based only on features, product quality and the feed back of customers. This doesn't take price into account.
1) The FHI Runway Series - This line of straightener is without a doubt the finest on the market. The FHI Runway Series has each and every cutting edge capability; damp-or-dry styling, lightening fast heat time, adjustable heat, revolutionary heating plates, 450F max temp and the most consistent plate heating of any product out there. The Runway models also have the best consumer feed back of any the products that we reviewed. If you want the best and most effective hair straighteners out there this is definitely it, and it's going to cost you. These hair straighteners sell for about $400.
Are the FHI Runway models worth it? Definitely, if you can afford the price.
2) The FHI Platform Series - As leaders in the evolution of tourmaline integration and ceramic plating, The Platform series offers a first-rate hair straightener at a much more affordable price. Available in multiple sizes, the FHI Platform series offers ultra flash heat times, adjustable temperature, 450F max heat and PTFC ceramic heat plates. While these items are less pricey than the FHI Runway series, they're still on the pricey side at about $150 - $200.
3) CHI Pink Series - The trendy pink hair straightener provides consumers the best performance and dependability of any straightener in the Farouk CHI line. Flash heat times, ceramic plates, and temperature control combined with a comfortably and ergonomically designed handle make the CHI ceramic flat iron an attractive option for people that want to get the most from their hair.
4) T3 Wet-or-Dry - This straightener actually ranked above the CHI Pink series in product features, but it was knocked to the fourth space because customers have had trouble with returns on the warranty. Aside from that, this model provides a solid ceramic design.
5) CHI Turbo Series - The CHI Turbo series takes fifth place in our 2007 flat iron review. This straightener line is used by more hair styling professionals than any of the other models. And though its flash heating and maximum temperature are not as good as the CHI Pink, the CHI Turbo series is an excellent choice for anybody that wants outstanding performance and dependability.
Honorable Mention
Even though our hair straightener review lists the best of the best, there are many other high quality, professionally designed straighteners and flat irons on the market. The following are a few:
GHD Hair Straighteners - A wonderful device with a sleek design that integrates many progressive features makes the
GHD straighteners a superior choice.
HAI Hair Straightener|Flat Iron - HAI hair straighteners have two quality choices at lower prices; the Convertible and the Nu Stik.FHI Flat Iron|Hair Straightener - The FHI Technique series provides consumers with best in Class products for the more conventional models. The FHI flat iron is a high quality product with many of the new millennium technologies.
*One of the more well known and popular models out there, the sedu hair straighteners, was not reviewed because of the exclusive, anti-competitive online distribution agreement and what seems to be misleading sales practices.
