Best Blender Brands On The Market

By:

For some simple blending tasks just about any blender will do the job just fine, but it still makes sense to get something that you know is going to last. This can be especially important for those that blend ice regularly or use a blender for things like smoothies and protein shakes on a daily basis. Consider the following brands if you want to make sure you get a high end blender that will last you as long as you need it no matter what you use it for.

Oster

While Oster does sell a few low end plastic models that should be avoided by anyone looking for a solid long term blender, the glass pitcher blenders in Oster's catalog are hard to beat when you look at simple durability and staying power. If you're looking for a simple blender that does exactly what it is supposed to do in a consistent fashion time and time again, you won't go wrong with one of the upper end models out of Oster's catalog.

KitchenAid

Like the mixers KitchenAid is famous for, KitchenAid blenders tend to run a little bit higher in price than a model with the same basic features from another brand. In fact, KitchenAid's blenders have fewer speed settings and options than almost any other blender you can buy. The reason they are listed here is simple: KitchenAid blenders are easily the most long lasting and durable blenders you can get with the same solid construction you'll find in their basic mixers. You can replace pieces as they break individually, so a KitchenAid blender should last you a lifetime.

Cuisinart

Cuisinart has a great range of blender options that are all designed with nice features and an eye on durability and long lasting use. With options that combine food processors and options that give you a variety of wattage and power choices all within a price range of about $60 - $200, Cuisinart has something available for just about everyone. Even the lowest range choices in the Cuisinart lineup are built to last.

Blendtec

For a high end option, you won't go wrong with one of the great blenders from Blendtec's lineup. These blenders tend to cost a little over $400, but the added power that they offer is enough to handle mixing things like dough and ice cream in addition to traditional tasks. Colors and styles of Blendtec blenders are pretty limited, but there really isn't another blender out there that can blend quite as well as one of these.
