There are few disadvantages of no VOC paints however. Finding the specific shades of colors that you like will be quite hard especially if you want the same brand and ingredients for this. You will need to do some shopping for this until you find the right ones. Or, you can use top coats for paints to give a better shade of color.



However, you have to be careful when doing this or else you will destroy the previous coat of paint. You also have to be careful when shopping for no VOC paints. There are some products that are not regulated but are labeled no VOC paint. You have to make sure that where you are buying from is an accredited and trustworthy store for you to be safe.
