*Instead of stimulant-rich foods, what can be taken just before sleep are teas that contain calming herbs. These herbal sleep remedies include chamomile tea and lavender mint tea. Other good herbal ingredients for a relaxing tea are valerian root, kava, lemon balm, passion flower, California poppy, and hops.

*Bedroom color and dcors should be arranged in a way that it is comfortable and inviting but not distracting. The bed covers, pillows and even the lighting of the room should be done in a way that once the light is turned-off your mind will be at peace and calm ready to sleep without any flashing or glowing in the dark colors to make your mind wonder.
