Its not one that you want to receive in your next email or text! Contrary to what a foreign language speaker might think on first reading the phrase, love handles and Belly fat is not desirable to anyone who sees them or feels them. They are those chubby, squashy, flabby folds of fat that build up on either side of your waist or in the middle of your stomach and spill out over the top of your jeans. Ew!

So where do they come from and how do you get rid of it?

Fat builds up in the body when you eat more calories in your food than you use up while walking, working, exercising and generally living. The body is keen to keep those excess calories because its genes and digestive system still live in the Stone Age, not the twenty-first century. In the Stone Age you may eat well one day but tomorrow who knows? There may not be any food. So hang onto those calories as fat!

For us today this is not so useful, because food is plentiful and lets faces it, in the Western world we eat every day three times a day sometimes more. And those calories just keep on being stored.

Fat gets stored all over the body but there is a basic difference between men and women. Men tend to put on fat around their gut area, whereas women put it on around their hips and behind. Guess what though both men and women put fat on at the sides of their waist. Love handles and belly fat is not sexist!

Which means to get lid of love handles and belly fat is not sexist either, so whether you are male or female the same rule applies to both sexes diet

That means a reduced intake of carbon hydrates like pasta, potatoes, ect.

Sometimes dietary supplements will help such as green tea or Acai burn products. The most important thing is that whatever method you choose to use to lose that excess weight it must fit in with your current life style. Research has shown that a dieter who embarks on a dietary routine that conflict with their current life style will usually end in failure.
