Bee Stings Can Make Your Skin Feel On Fire

By:

Have you ever had a bee sting? Bees are insects that fly around and have stingers on the rear part of their bodies. They fly around to find flowers to get the pollen out of it so they can make honey. If you mess with them they will get mad and will probably sting you. When a bee stings you it hurts, and you will have a red mark or marks that look like a bump on your body. It feels like it is on fire because it burns; when it feels like this it will itch, too. You will need to put a band-aid and some ointment on it so it can heal.

If you are allergic to them then you need to stay away from them because they can make you swell up. If you are like some people who are severely allergic to bee stings, then it can even kill you if you don't get to the hospital in time. It can make it hard to breathe, and you can pass out because of the venom in the bite. You will have to get a shot to take care of it. It can also give you hives and that will spread to your whole body. You will start to get itchy a lot, which can make it worse. You will need to put on lotion, antihistamines and chamomile lotion on it to treat it and make it better. You can use something frozen or put an ice pack on it, and it will take the swelling away or bring the swelling down.

You can use a spray on it to make it stop hurting. This spray is called solarcaine, and it does work. It is also used on burns, other bug bites, and a lot of other things, too. But don't get it in your eyes or in your mouth. Keep it away from children; don't put it on their face or on their hands. Bee stings are no laughing matter because to a lot of people, it is dangerous and you have to get them help right away before something worse happens to them. Deaths occurring by allergic reactions to bee stings are not very common because those people reached the hospital in time. To people that are not allergic to them and they get stung, they will be ok. You will just need to put some stuff on it and cover it.
