Christmas Story
In the small village of Galilee in Nazareth, Israel, lived Mary a young virgin who was engaged to be married to Joesph, a Jewish carpenter. An angel visited Mary in her dream who told her she had been chosen to bear a Son of God and his name was to be Jesus. Before the marriage she miraculously became pregnant through the Holy Spirit. The angel visited Joseph in his dream and told him story and he married her.

Then Joseph and Mary had to go to Bethlehem. When they reached Bethlehem it was night. They looked for a place but they didnt get any place to rest.
Joseph and Mary found a cave used as a stable room. Joseph cleaned it and made beds of fresh hay. He found a feeding trough which he cleaned and filled with hay to use as a crib. Mary gave birth to a son and they named him Jesus

The Shepherds
When the child was born a shining star appeared over Bethlehem and an angel appeared in front of shepherds and said - a Saviour who is Christ the Lord is born in Bethlehem
After the angel departed the shepherds reached the cave at Bethlehem and found the baby.

The Three Kings
As the star shined over Bethlehem, three kings of the east saw it. They follow the star and arrived in Bethlehem they found the child. The three kings bowed to the child and offered gifts of gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
Christmas in India
Christian community in India celebrate Christmas with great pomp and joy. At night of 24th December people participating in special holy masses organized in churches. Celebrations are marked by carols, cakes and decoration of Christmas Tree. Peoples of other religions also participate in the celebration with their Christian friends and is a national holiday in India.
