beats headphones ar improvement frm yur standard sets nd r wthut a doubt the frst choice if our listening t demanding bass tht i desire, nd bng able to listen to it without having th speakers wht you want right? well t brings it on, th bass is deffinately good s it ay n th box, deep and low and it dont miss ny hits, yt the mids and highs d gt lost nto the mix whn th bass hiting hard but still, the highs ar clearer nd crisper thn ny headset i hav owned nd th mids deffinately level everything out well, now ive put on ll diffferent kinds of headsets and th are deffinately th mot durable nd yu pay fr tht quality , remember n thing though.. thy mght not be worth th price t som wh just wnt a decent

I purchased the
beats solo t review on head-fi.org compared t IEMs (in ear moniters) lik th UE Triple Fi 10 Pro, Sure SE530, nd Westone 3, nd cans lke th Sennheiser PXC 450, r the HD 600 nd 650.
First off lets get on to th small but decent good. Like mst expensive cans these are qute durable and they hv a great design. They feel sturdy, nd quit solid despite thr plastic composition. However that s whre the good ends and the worse nd horrible begins.
Before I listen to ny
cheap beats solo I llow abut n hundred hours f burn n with randomization of music at normal listening volumes. This works ut ll sound issues and give the IEM and/or Can the benefit of the doubt whn bng reviewed. However n amount of burn n uld save th putrid sound quality of these... things.
The onl thing tht rang out mr than a carpenter tht put nail thrugh h hand with his nail gun, was the w overextended bass. Not onl de the poorly designed dynamic transducer give vr extended bass; it de b completely drowning out th mids and highs. In sme songs where bass is not an issue I found th bass drowning out chords nd vocals left in right n almst all genres of music.

This makes th music sound like t bng muffled, hwevr th the frst set f headphones I have listened t whre th mids re s rolled ff by th bass the are almost nonexistent. In areas wher ou wuld hear clear sound stage, thee phones hv lmost no sound stage. Music feels mashed tgethr and then regurgitated nt ur auditory canal leaving your eardrum and cochlea t d what it must t separate the mess into something, mewht enjoyable.

i the highs. I hve a pet peeve wth ny headphone or IEM that hve "tinny highs." Tinny means it sounds omwhat metallic if talking n a aluminum can. While nt havng n mids creates on thing the designers f th monstrosities tred t overextend a th qut rolled back highs. The result sounds lke th Tin Man of Oz decided t join the boy George band and put h pipes to th test. However othr thn the vocals thy place symbols, chimes, high hates, nd ther music far n the background whn t not playing b itself. So whil song mght start ff wth chimes and sound decent, like ther kiosk wth th things, nce music starts playing those sounds go far nto th background
