One of the proficiency exams of Adobe is the Adobe Premiere Pro CS4 exam or the exam number 9A0-097. The exam will majorly cover topics which will be discussed on the succeeding paragraphs.
The setup of plans and series of the application is 8% of the exam. Moreover, the description of General, Scratch Disk and New Project tabs will be included. Purpose and description of Project Manger box, Sequence Preset, General and Track tabs will also be asked.

The knowledge in editing of videos in the Adobe Premiers is 14% of the exam. The candidate will be asked to discuss the usage of the editing tools, workflow, functions and actions in the timeline.
The usage of transition and effects on videos and photos is 16% of the proficiency exam. In this part, the candidates ability in adding effects in motions, application of proper color, the usage of track Matte Key will be tested.
The creation of titles and the usage of texts is eight percent of the exam. This includes the creation of still titles, the creation of moving texts or titles and the creation of templates.
Twelve percent of the examination will focus on the audio applications of Adobe Premiere CS4. The assessment will involve the usage of audio mixer, editing of audio and the advantage of VST plug-ins. The mapping of source of an audio clip and the efficacy of the usage of the transcribe-to-text attributes will be asked in the exam.
Another part of the exam which is for 4% is the production of output from Adobe Premiere CS4. The Production questions will include the explanation of the usage of the Export Setting and the Adobe Media Encoder.
The creation of DVDs, Flash and Blu-ray Encore is worth 16% of the exam and the last 10% includes the importation and exportation with the use of Encore. The exam is composed of 50 questions and the required minimum passing rate is 71%.
