Time is money and most people have a budget that they are following. When the remodeling is finished, the final payment will be expected. Keep in mind that if the work was performed in a satisfactory matter, then you should pay the difference as soon as possible. this is common courtesy, and it also helps to have a contractor you know you can trust for any future remodeling you may need.
