Next important skill that a player needs to develop for playing the game effectively is passing. Passing the ball is the first moving option to safeguard the ball from the opponent stealing it from your grip. Passing the ball is easier and effective that dribbling the ball and keeping it with you for a longer time will lead to attraction of many opponent players. This skill is totally about the ability to pose you and study the shot from the opponent. Rebounding is a skill that can come only with practice and speed.
Offense will include shooting and supporting your team with the help of tricks like screens. Defense is seen as the key to victory, with effective stealing and blocks.
