The Bartender song was created Dave Matthews. Dave Matthews is a well known song maker around the world. He has his own band known as the Dave Matthews band. This song was released in the year 2008 on May 27. It is a country rock song which started recording in 2005. The song is 3 minutes and 50 seconds long. It was written and produced by Rehab. It was one of the songs from the album "Graffiti The World". It was the third song from that album. The bartender song was the first single song to feature among the top 100 of the "Billboard Hot 100". It was ranked at number 64 among the 100 songs.

The song was originally shot in a bar. It had a very good rhythm to it. This song was a remake of the song "sitting at the bar" made by their band in 2000 which came in the album southern discomfort. Epic records took up the responsibility of releasing the song. But epic records thought that the lifetime of the song had come to an end. So they decided to drop the song at the end of 2002. But the song was a massive underground hit and number of people downloaded the song through the internet. After epic records dropped the band it was taken over by Universal records. The co-president of Universal music, Mr. Avery Lipman, said that the song was a phenomenon and loved by many people around the world.

That was the reason that Universal records signed the band and the amount of success that the band has got. Then, rehab once again recorded the song with a new name "Bartender song". This song went on to become the most successful single of their band. This music video featured Danny Trejo as the star and Larry Wilcox has also done a little cameo. But their previous supporters Epic records re - released the old "sitting on the bar song" without the permission of the band. They re - released the song because in 2008 the remake became a massive hit. So they thought that they could some more money on the success of the remake in 2008. Later in the year in August they released a radio friendly remix version of the song was released. This remix version featured Hank Williams Jr. This remix was ranked at number 60 in the country charts.
