Barratt Homes Hosts Midsummer Tea Party Fundraiser At Hampshire New Build Homes Development

By:

Barratt Homes is inviting house hunters and local residents alike to a Midsummer Tea Party at its St Mary's Park development in Hartley Wintney, outside Hook in Hampshire. This Saturday, 18th June, from 11am, the company is hosting the party in order to raise funds for nearby St Mary's Church, from which the development takes its name. Barratt Homes is supporting the work of the Churches Conservation Trust, which is helping to save some of the UK's most historic places of worship.

It's going to be a great day out for all the family, with refreshments being served including sandwiches, cakes and ice cream. While the kids are entertained with balloon modelling, quoits and jenga, the grown-ups can enjoy a glass of Pimm's and enjoy the hospitality of the housebuilder and the charity. It's also an opportunity for potential buyers hoping to find a property to suit them at the scheme to see how the development is taking shape.

"We are delighted to be hosting the Midsummer Tea Party at St Mary's Park to support the restoration project of St Mary's Church. Following our initial contribution towards the restoration of the bells, we were really keen to continue raising funds for this very worthwhile charity," says Lynnette St-Quintin, Sales Director at Barratt Southern Counties. "A real sense of community is forming at St Marys Park and the party is a brilliant way for us to show our support to village and also The Churches Conservation Trust."

This development of new homes in Hampshire features a range of house styles with two to five bedrooms, with prices starting at £259,995. Three-quarters of the first release have already been sold but there is still a great choice of homes available that are ideal for commuters and families. The village is one of the most sought-after addresses in the region, offering a sense of tranquillity as well as great convenience for schools, shops, amenities and transport links.

It's around 60 minutes into London from nearby Winchfield station, which also offers services to destinations such as Basingstoke, Fleet and Woking. The M3 is just minutes away, and the M4 around a quarter of an hour from your door at St Mary's Park. Reading, Guildford and Farnborough are all easy to reach on the local road network.

There are excellent schools locally, both in the state and private sector, some of them achieving an Ofsted "outstanding" rating. The amenities of the village, including clubs for golf, cricket and football, and proximity to the countryside and coast make it a fantastic area for raising a family, with the house types available at St Mary's Park appealing to those with young children or teenagers.
