So youre sitting back one day when someone breaches the subject of baptism ceremonies. You arent entirely sure what this means and what it would mean for you little one if they either wanted to be baptized or if you wanted them to be baptized. So the question iswhat is baptism all about?

Well, first of all, it depends on what particular Christian sect that you are part of. Most Christian sects believe that baptism is the process of washing away all of your sins and taking Christ into your heart.

However, then you have those who are Baptist. Baptist churches believe that when you are baptized that you are admitting publicly that you have accepted Christ. It is not the same as accepting Christ, however, as most Baptist will tell you quite vehemently. It is the second step of the process and is normally a huge deal. Many churches have special baptismal pools specifically for their baptism ceremonies.

And then you have Catholic baptism, which is an entirely different thing. Catholics baptize their children when they are very young, to remove original sin and bless the child. Its very important and occurs just a few days after the baby is born.

Baptism started with John the Baptist. He was the first person to baptize anyone and helped to baptize Jesus. This is considered an extremely important tradition and signifies not only cleanliness but the newfound pureness of the spirit. Its very important to both Christians and Catholics alike.

Baptism ceremonies are some of the most memorable events in a childs life for their mom and dadlets face it, its cute. It makes you proud to see that your little one made such a ground-breaking decision or to see them so young and cute being baptized and then dedicated to the church.

So what can you do in order to preserve this memory for you little one? Well, there are several ways, but a baby book is one way that you can do so.

Lets face ityou probably havent thought about a baby book, or if you have, you havent really considered putting their baptism ceremony pictures in that book. However, what you may not realize is that its actually a great way that you can store your memories and create the same nostalgia for them.

You can find baby books a few different placesjust as you can be baptized a few different places. A lake, a pool, in churchand you can even get baptized there too! All joking aside, you still need to be able to find a good baby book to document such loving ceremonies.

Not to mention that you can also add cute little stickers and the like to your baby book for your baby! And remember that older kids appreciate having their memories preserved as well! Take your time to really examine what type of baby books you can getor those that you have already bought for your older children!
