Bank Of America Pavilion, A Memorable Performance Venue

By:

Boston, known as the Athens of America, is an all inclusive, large city, with a prosperous culture. As a matter of fact, the city's philosophers and poets were the ones who led a cultural revolution promoting important causes like feminism, transcendentalism and abolitionism. This city is sometimes called a "city of neighbourhoods" because of the multitude of varied subsections; it is blessed with a continental climate. The capital of Massachusetts, Boston is world-renowned for its many academic institutions and striking architecture. In addition, Boston contains many landmark sights as well. Many tourists are drawn to this city as it is rich with many attractions such as The Freedom Trail, Boston Public Garden, Quincy Market, Fenway Park, Museum of Science, New England Aquarium and Boston Harbour Islands. One of the city's main highlights is the Bank of America Pavilion, located within the city.

Previously known as Harborlights and located on Fan Pier between Moakley Federal Courthouse and Anthony's Pier 4, the Bank of America Pavilion was re-opened as Bank Boston Pavilion at its present location, Wharf 8 in Boston, Massachusetts. It is a nationally-owned live outdoor auditorium comprising a seating capacity of nearly 5000. This waterfront amphitheatre is broadly considered as one of the best venues for live entertainment in the city. Each summer it hosts anywhere from 40-55 shows. The famous artistes who have performed here include Blondie, Chris Isaak, Wilco, Arcade Fire and Elvis Costello.

Only an easy walk from the south station, the Bank of America Pavilion has a wide refreshment selection on offer. Extending along the northern and the western edge of the site at the Bank of America Pavilion, is the Harbor-walk, which provides enchanting views of the harbour, working piers and the Boston skyline. Four informative signs detailing the harbour's history have been set up. Restrooms along with bench and table seating for the use of the general public during non-concert times can be found here as well.

In order to have a long memorable stay in Boston while visiting the Bank of America Pavilion, the modern trend is to reside at a luxury hotel in Boston. All your hospitality and accommodation desires will be satisfied in a luxury hotel suite in Boston, especially at an accommodation like The Langham Boston.
