Also, when you do not hire bands everyday can you really be confident in knowing what you are doing? Do you know the legalities behind band hire? Would you know a good contract to protect yourself and the cover bands or party bands you are hiring? DO you know what certificates the venue requires?
Theres a lot more to be taken into account than you think before booking a band. And, this is all without even considering if the cover bands or party bands are actually any good and the right fit for your event!
First stop, a good, well established entertainment agency! As long as you pick a good entertainment agency you will have no problem in band hire and you can just sit back and enjoy the fun part... i.e. listening, watching and choosing the cover bands or party bands you want to hire for your wedding, party or corporate event.

entertainment agency always check how long they have been established and see if you can dig out any customer feedback about them and how good their customer service is. Also, speak to them to find out what time they operate? Some entertainment companies are pretty tin pot and operate from a spare bedroom! I certainly wouldnt be entrusting a sham business with one of the most important days of my life!
So, check the logistics of their operation, opening hours, do they have an office space, do they have staff. Its a tricky balance because you do not want to
hire a band from an entertainment agency that is too small where you may get lost if the agency gets busy, but you also do not want to get put aside by the mechanics of an operation too large either.
Speak to the entertainment agency and see what you can find out. How do they operate? How do they ensure that their customer service to you will be second to none? Ask them how they will go about picking the right party bands or cover bands for you? What sort of price will you be looking at?
If you dont ask youll never know!
