Baltimore Transportation: Renting Car Can Lead You To A Great Tour In This Beautiful County

Baltimore is one of the sights seeing city in the United States. The transportation system of the Baltimore is not so efficient though. MARC train, Light Rail and Metro subway are the major public transportation available in the city. There are different fare price included to the subway. Daily pass, weakly pass and monthly pass are included to travel with one of those public transports. The city bus run throughout the city and also covers the whole Baltimore country. The drawback of their bus transportation system is that their service is not very reliable. If anyone unfortunately misses the bus he/she have to wait long till another bus will arrive.

The subway is not very efficient too; it only covers east to West site of the country. This subway is the only transportation way of Johns Hopkins Hospitals which is the only hospital established for the Baltimore county people. For the north to south transportation there is a Light rail available. Both the subway and the light rail is not connected with main rail system which will be problematic if an one try to reach main rail station. To reach the main rail station of the country one have go to near airport rail station with the bus transportation though the light rail passes through the rail line but not connected with it.

MARC is the main country connected transportation system available for who want to communicate unidirectional. With the rail system one can go to Frederick, M.D., D.C. and W.V. There is another free bus service available to visit the city. There is two route available for the bus service called The charm City Circulator, one is purple Route Which covers the Penn station to Federal Hill, and the another one is Orange Route which covers the are from Hollings Market to Harbor East.

The best way to tour the Baltimore country is to rent a car. It will take you easily to the famous places in the city and will cover surrounding sights. No matter where you live, city or or urban site with rent a car you can certainly enjoy the wonderful sights of the Baltimore county. In rush hour you have to be careful about the parking the car because you need some luck to find the parking area. Inner harbor area is not accessible with any rail system. If you want to enjoy the inner harbor sight you to go there with by you foot.
